-
- What is MajorFKEY?
- ==================
-
- MajorFKEY is an FKEY that allows you to toggle between 12 and 24 hour time
- at the touch of a button (or buttons). It performs the same action as opening
- the Control Panel, choosing the General CDEV, and clicking the 12/24 hour
- time button.
-
- To use MajorFKEY, install it into your system using Resedit, or by using some
- utility package such as Suitcase II, QuicKeys 2, etc.
-
- For 99% of U.S. based Macintosh users, this FKEY is nothing more than a toy.
- But if you are a world traveler, and hate using 24 hour time on your Mac
- Portable, you could use MajorFKEY to toggle back and forth when someone
- asks you the time.
-
- The name is a based on the CBS sitcom Major Dad, which happened to be on
- as I was tooling this out. Since the FKEY toggles to military time, it
- seemed appropriate. <g>
